This page will list the upcoming programmes of the JNU Mountaineering Club (JNUMC) for the benefit of all and sundry (including guests who are not bona fide students of JNU). Please note that I am not officially involved with the JNU Moutaineering Club and am posting here the details of the upcoming trips/journeys/excursions/programmes in my personal capacity. My source of information is the JNUMC wall posters in JNU and I will not be responsible for errors and omissions, if any.

SUMMER TREK 2009 JNUMC
The summer trek schedule of JNUMC has been announced. Even guests are welcome! Read the notice (ad) below! From 27 May to 9 June, 2009! Registration on the 8th of May in Tapti Hostel JNU (but even if you come a bit late you may be admitted).
“An adventurous trek to the beautiful Pin Valley in Himachal Pradesh. Trek from Kafnoo to Guling passing through Mulling-Pistrang-Bhabha pass (4860 mts), Boldar, Gurgur, Mud and kaza. The programme also includes sightseeing in Manali.”

- 13 March 2009 to 15 March 2009 (tentative dates): River-rafting trip to Rishikesh in collaboration with Questrails.
Fees: JNU students (2200 Rupees); Guests (2400 Rupees) Charges exclusive of travel expenses.
